Bush Walk-Pindar Cave

From the lonely station of Wondabyne in the Brisbane Water National park begins the nice and wild walk to the Pindar cave. Even at the station of departure the adventure begins because this station is so remote that the train will not stop if you don't ask to the guard. Not longer than 10m Wondabyne station is between the bush and the water.
Wondabyne Station
6H-11km, the numbers are not high but the walk is pretty wild, few people might come here when you see the thickness of the vegetation. It was hard sometimes to follow the track but some few ribbons are there to remind you the way. After walking in a creek, figthing against the bush and admire the view at the martin lookout you finally arrive at the cave.

The Pindar Cave
A good fire to warm you and dry you from the moist of the vegetation, a good meal to refuel! The GREAT bush life. The place seems to be far from the "civilized" world, in the middle of nowhere.

Let's go back on the track to the Pindar waterfall. The only problem is to find the waterfall. After 30min off-track opening a new one we finally find it. It worths the struggle against this amazingly thicj bush (you can see farther than 3-4m).

It is time to go back especially with the sky becoming darker every minutes. Back on the creeks and the thick vegetation:

After 5h we are back at the station and under a good thunder storm. We must not forget to wave at the train driver otherwise...he would not stop!

A nice walk, a wild walk!
